To strengthen the already established links with the State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy of Sichuan University, the faculty members of the Department of Biomedical Sciences paid a visit to the State Key Laboratory in Chengdu in mid-October 2015. This is a reciprocal visit for the visit of a delegation from the State Key Laboratory to BMS back in June.

A joint research symposium was held with researchers from both sides presented their works. This research symposium has attracted a crowd of researchers and students from Sichuan University to participate.

The continued academic exchanges and research collaborations are expected to strengthen the ties between the two institutions.
