CityU has organized JUPAS Consultation Day on 20/5/2023, for admission tips and a better future career plan for DSE students. This year, MNE had organized different activities for students and parents, for them to have a better understanding of our programme and majors.
A talk was held by 3 of our faculties in order to introduce our majors and the current situation on the career of MNE graduates. “Brief Introduction of BEng Aerospace Engineering” was given by Dr. Steven WANG, “Trends in Mechanical Engineering Careers” was given by Prof. YANG Yong and “Brief Introduction of BEng Nuclear and Risk Engineering Programme” by Dr. Alice HU.
2 Lab tours were followed by the talk, the first one is a visit to our Mechatronics and Automation Lab; Services Robotics Lab; Precision Control and Instrumentation Lab and Integrated Design and Prototyping Lab. The second tour is visiting The CLP Power Low Carbon Energy Education Centre. The centre is the first of its kind in Hong Kong. The education centre is located at City University’s campus which showcases the importance of low carbon energy in addressing climate change.
