The CityUHK campus buzzed with excitement as the Career and Leadership Centre (CLC) successfully hosted the Alumni Get-Together & Fire-Side Chat Event on 23 January 2025 (Thursday), which brought together a diverse group of CityUHK alumni, academic and administrative staff, and current students, fostering a strong collaboration and insight sharing.

Nine accomplished alumni from various sectors, including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), luxury brands, and retail, were invited to speak on their career paths and industry insights. The event's highlight was a 45-minute panel discussion featuring four esteemed CityUHK alumni: Mr. Carlos CHIK, Operation Support & Training Manager at Zoff Hong Kong; Mr. Polo LO, Senior Specialist - Digital Performance & Business Development at Louis Vuitton; Ms. Eddy TAM, Senior Marketing Manager, CRM Marketing, yuu Rewards in DFI Retail Group; and Ms. Sally TAM, Category Manager, AS Watson - Watson’s The Chemist.

During the engaging fire-side chat, the panellists discussed current retail market trends in the AI era and the core competencies students should develop to achieve career success in the industry. With more than 50 participants, the event facilitated enriching discussions and provided practical advice for career development in the industry.
