Januslean Biotech Co., Ltd. is a start-up company established in 2021 and supported by CityU’s “HK Tech 300”, demonstrating industry-university-research cooperation. Relying on our own intellectual property, Januslean is engaged in the R&D, production and sales of advanced materials, biomedicine and healthcare products.
At present, the company is focusing on its JanusLean Electrospun Sheet Mask, which is the world's first nanofibre water-free sheet mask with the following unique features:
- The Chinese medicine nanofibre layer contains no additives or harmful preservatives;
- It has an excellent moisturising effect with directional water transportation ability, which prevents reverse water absorption from the skin;
- It is energy-efficient, reducing cosmetic raw materials by 80%;
- It is portable, reducing transportation costs by 95%; and
- It is eco-friendly, as it doesn’t use plastic waterproof packaging.
Our project addresses current industry shortcomings. A successful prototype has been produced, and the mask is now ready to be commercialised.
