Delegation Visit by Ningxia University

Welcome Ningxia University representatives!
On 28 May 2025, the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong had host a visit and meeting with the delegation of Ningxia University.
The esteemed delegation from Ningxia University included Prof. Zhang Huan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Ningxia University Committee; Prof. Li Shiju, Deputy Provost of the Faculty of Philosophy and Arts; Prof. Yu Pengliang, Associate Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication; Prof. Zhao Yafeng, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office; and Prof. Deng Tianqi, Associate Professor of the School of Journalism and Communication.
During their visit, the delegation was introduced to COM’s advanced teaching facilities, including the 4K Video Editing Studio, Multimedia Digital Newsroom, 3D Virtual TV Studio, and Advertising Design and Shooting Studio. These facilities provided insight into how the department equips students with the skills to become professional communicators.
The visit culminated in an academic meeting focused on potential future collaboration. The delegation engaged in discussions with representatives from CityUHK, including Prof. Wang Xiaohu, Associate Dean (Research) of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences; alongside COM faculty members, such as Prof. Huang Yi-hui, Head of the Department of Media and Communication; Associate Professor Jiang Li and Assistant Professor Wang Xiaohui.
